Another thing not to do is not to plan your trip to paris in the months of Dec! Its so cold and everywhere is closed! I planned my trip 10 years ago on a Christmas eve….. and regretted it. Didnt get the full experience of what Paris was like.

In reply to Erin @ Platings and Pairings. I was afraid I'd fall into the over-romanticized trap of Paris, but I genuinely loved it. I think the reason why I did, though, because I didn't try to do everything. I took my time exploring the city and saw things at a leisurely (and Parisian!) pace.

I have been blessed to of gone to Paris three times in my life. I love Paris! There is a little cafe’ right by the Eiffel Tower that is my favorite! It has the best baked goods. Thanks for sharing! I can’t wait to go back!!! 🙂

In reply to Hawnuh Lee. Aaah, I'll have to ask you about Iceland! My flight to Paris stopped in Iceland, and I learned about the free stopovers Iceland Air does. Now I'm curious to see if 2 days there would be a good idea for the next time I fly to Europe.
