In reply to Kailyn Travels. Oh I love Chicago—my dad's side of the family lives there—but yeah there aren't a lot of opportunities to hike and explore outside. We love hitting the water whenever we can!

I rarely read about Oregon, so thank you for adding more to this area! I absolutely love outdoor spots, especially with kids so maybe I could take my brothers here once the whole COVID situation has calmed down

Wow, this looks like a great area to visit with kids. I’m always looking for family friendly hikes, so Maddax Woods would be perfect for me. I love all the splash pads to, and I’m sure my daughter would even more! Thanks for the recommendations

These parks all look so nice for you and your family! I especially love all the parks with water like Willamette Park where you can kayak! I live in Chicago and I wish I was closer to more parks.

Each one of the West Linn Parks is pretty. I liked the Camassia Nature Preserve the most though. Seems like a great place to live for families. I guess the kids never get bored with so much do near Portland.
