Oh fun!! Yes, Albany is such a great stop on the way to Portland. The carousel is less than 10 minutes from the freeway (and has clean bathrooms) so is an ideal road trip stop.

It’s such a fun town for little kids. It doesn’t hurt that the historic downtown is very compact, which makes it easier for littles to walk.
