I’m excited for you that you’re heading to Bend (and slightly jealous – I need to go back ASAP!). There are so many great hikes near Bend – I’m sure you’ll find a good spot to get outside.

I vaguely remember hiking in that area with my dad when I was a kid, but it looks like they’ve done some serious trail upgrades since then. Thanks for the recommendation – we are heading to Bend next month. Hopefully, we will find some time to check it out.

Hikes with a beautiful destination – either a waterfall or a stunning view – really help, since there’s motivation to get to the end!
