Ohhh…the PNW, how I love you so. Bend is such beautiful country. Everyone loves Bachelor in the winter, but for me, summers in Oregon are tops.

What a beautifully scenic place! It’s even better that it’s not overrun by crowds. I’d love to do some stand up paddle boarding there.

In reply to Eric Gamble. Hahaha, you're totally right, Eric! Hosmer Lake is cold but not glacially cold. You'd definitely want a hot day to go swimming and then it's quite refreshing!

In reply to Rudy @ Backpack & Snorkel. We have an inflatable kayak too! It's so convenient to blow up whenever we arrive at our destination (and better for gas mileage since we don't have to drive with it on the roof of the car)
